Respite for the entire family
The responsibility of being a family caregiver can be rewarding, but also demanding.
All too often, caregivers can risk their own health and well being by neglecting
their personal needs. Cedar Sinai Park Adult Day Services offers caregivers convenient,
flexible respite care along with the comfort of knowing their loved one will be spending
the day in a structured, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Services are individually tailored by our staff, after meeting with participants
to assess their needs. Each day, participants engage in a variety of activities,
from reminiscing about favorite topics to sing alongs, visits from pets, gentle
exercise and stimulating word games. Nutritious, well balanced meals are served
in a homelike setting. Participants also enjoy a beautiful, landscaped courtyard.
Our Adult Day Services program enhances the quality of life for both our participants
and for their families.
Adult Day Services are designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or
cognitively impaired adults and who are:
- able to benefit from a social setting
- able to remain in a secured setting
- able to get along well with other people
- able to stand and transfer to a chair independently or with the aide of one
staff person
You can enroll your family member by obtaining an enrollment packet from the Adult
Day Services staff and completing the enrollment forms. The Director will meet with
the participant and family to determine eligibility.
Regular Day Service hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

To provide residential and community based care to our elders and infirm with services
that allow them to live with comfort, independence and dignity in a manner and in
an environment based on Jewish values.
